Villa Rivesto
Designer
Maurizio Giammarinaro
A splendid example of a residential villa in which marble plays a leading role, both for its particularity and for the incredible attention to detail, helping to create an architectural space whose geometries are able to provide an atmosphere of elegance and design. This is expressed through some style accents, such as the façade with diagonal cut corner elements that recreate the idea of three wall blocks entirely clad in Grigio Ducale marble; the bathroom cladding in Striato Olimpico marble, with its characteristic horizontal veining in shades of grey, cut into whole panels of over 3 m to create a single wall without obvious constructive cuts; the Pietra Pernice fireplace with holes that allow it to be ventilated by exploiting the peculiarities of the stone itself, avoiding unsightly metal grids; or the L’Onice Verde that covers the wall of the master bathroom in suspension with a “book-matched marble” finish, almost like a work of art shaped by nature.
